Registration is now open for our Canada Day Cup tennis event, taking place on Wednesday, July 1. This friendly and competitive event welcomes players of all skill levels!

Dress to Impress: Start coordinating your team’s look! There is a major prize on the line for Best Team Spirit & Attire.

Come Hungry: Your registration covers light breakfast refreshments, pastries, and fresh coffee during morning warmups, as well as your catered Co De Hue lunch spread and soft drinks throughout the day.

Support the Courts: Make sure to bring some pocket change or a card to check out our Sea Change Alcohol Station and participate in a silent auction and 50/50 in support of our court replacement!

How it works:
  • The Event: Pick a country to represent, dress up in your most festive team attire, and compete for both the championship title and the coveted best team spirit and attire prize!
  • The Format: A fast-paced, 10 point tiebreak team format. Teams of 5-10 (minimum two women) face off in a round-robin format. Each matchup between teams features tiebreaks of men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Each game counts towards your team’s place in the standings!
  • Fuel for the Day (including with your registration)
    • Morning: Kick things off with light breakfast refreshments, pastries, and coffee to power your warm-up.
    • Lunch: A catered Vietnamese lunch spread from Co Do Hue to keep your energy up for the afternoon rounds.
  • Off-Court Activities: Between matches, test your skills at our instructor-led stations, enjoy some tastings and beverages from Sea Change Brewing, and take home some prizes by bidding on silent auction items and buying your 50/50 tickets in support of our court replacement project.

Back by popular demand… we’re bringing the chaos back to the sand this Canada Day with a coed fours beach volleyball tournament!

This year’s theme: Special Holidays & Events
Come dressed as your favourite day of the year or iconic celebration — think Oktoberfest, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Easter, or anything festive, weird, and creative. The more over-the-top, the better.

Expect the same wild energy as last year’s Eurovision beach event — with a format that’s just as chaotic, social, and ridiculously fun. We’re mixing things up again with unique rotations, unexpected matchups, and creative twists on traditional beach volleyball. No two games will feel the same.

Details:
 Canada Day
 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We’ll keep you fueled all day with lunch, drinks, and snacks provided, so you can focus on what really matters: great plays, great costumes, and great vibes.

Grab your team, pick your holiday alter ego, and get ready for a full day of sun, sand, and absolute mayhem.

Registration details to follow.

Our 2026 Tennis Club Championships will close the season, and a chapter in our club’s history, as the final event on the current red clay courts.

This tournament will be a celebration of our club, and an opportunity to come together to cap the season before our court replacement project begins.

While tournament entries are limited to active tennis members, we welcome everyone to join in the celebration. This will include social events such as a BBQ, and a fundraising one-point tournament open to everyone.

Players can participate in up to two draws of Men’s Singles and Doubles, Women’s Singles and Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

Registration information and costs are coming soon. The tentative schedule is:

Thursday, August 13: 5-10pm

Friday, August 14: 5-10pm

Saturday, August 15: 9am-10pm, with a BBQ during the day.

Sunday, August 16: 9am – finish.

More information will be added here as it’s confirmed.
