Friday Night & Sunday Afternoon Round Robin Socials:

Most Fridays from 6 pm – 8 pm and Sundays from 2 -4 pm. All full-time members of tennis are invited to participate in social games and have some snacks & drinks. This is a great way to meet other people with similar interests! The sign-up sheet will be updated at regular intervals to include upcoming socials. Access to the sheet will be granted with club membership.

Garneau Tennis Olympiad

Our team has planned a series of engaging on-court activities, which will be led by none other than our newest tennis professional, Harry. During this event, we will also be providing a lunch break to allow participants to refresh and refuel for the remainder of the day’s activities.

Davis/Billie Jean King Cup

 

Get your teams together and choose a country to represent! We ask that you appoint a team captain who will be responsible for collecting a $10.00 entry fee from each player. Please secure your spot by making a payment before the event.

 

We will also be doing a potluck again this year so team captains, please assign 1 or 2 players to bring a dish that represents your country.  Some suggestions are an entree dish, salad or vegetable dish, fruit or cheese/cracker plate or a dessert dish.

Breakfast at Wimbledon

This occasion will encompass engaging tennis games and a lovely breakfast featuring the classic combination of strawberries and cream.

Participation in this event is exclusively open to active tennis members. A nominal fee of $5 per person is required for entry.

French Open Twist

Come and enjoy an afternoon of tennis games with a twist on the clay, followed by French-inspired hors d’oeuvres and sparkling drinks!

 

The event is open to active tennis members and will take place on June 10, 2023 from 2-4 PM.

Open House

Join us at our 2023 Open House! Swing by on Saturday, May 13, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM and experience an afternoon of Tennis in the heart of Edmonton. This year we will have a few options for attendees to try:

Tennis lessons, skills, and drills with our coaches

Reps with our new ball machine

Speed gun serving tests

Demo racquets from Kevin’s Rocks N Racquets

BBQ and refreshments

And so much more!

Everyone is welcome, so come by and join in the fun!

Please note: This event is open to all ages and skill levels for both members and non-members alike. All those in attendance will have access to the courts free of charge and we encourage non-members to come out and get a feel for the courts, meet the pros and staff, and become familiarized with our membership packages.
