Spring is here, and it’s time to get our courts looking their best for the season ahead!

We’re planning a Tennis Spring Clean-Up Day on Sunday, April 26 (tentative), and we’d love your help to get everything in top shape. This is a great chance to give back to the club, meet fellow members, and kick off the tennis season together.

What to expect:

• General court and facility clean-up
• Light outdoor tasks (no experience needed!)
• A fun, social atmosphere with fellow tennis enthusiasts

How to get involved:
Volunteers can easily sign up through Court Reserve. Just log in, find the event, and add your name to the list. Whether you can spare an hour or stay for the whole session, every bit of help makes a difference.

Looking to learn tennis or take your skills to the next level? Our 2026 lesson options for Adults and Juniors are designed to help players build confidence, improve technique, and enjoy the game in a fun, supportive environment. Led by top-level coaches, our Beginner and Intermediate Adult Lessons provide the perfect mix of skill development, fitness, and fun. For younger players, our Junior Lessons feature both green ball and hard ball options.

Tennis lessons are available for both Members (M) and Non-members (NM).

Back after a three year hiatus, the Western Canadian Indoor Masters Championship returns to Edmonton from May 6 – May 10, 2026.

The Royal Glenora Club and Derrick Golf & Winter Club will share hosting duties. Participants can expect the same world-class hospitality and organization that set the bar last time around.

Age Categories: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+

Format: 1 Singles & 1 Doubles OR 2 Doubles (No Mixed Doubles).

Consolation: Adjusted feed-in consolation for all Singles.

Registration is open! Join us for the most anticipated Masters event of the year.

• Entry Fee: $175 + GST (Covers one or two events)
• Final Registration Deadline: April 20, 1:59am

Events: BS 12, GS 12, BS 16, GS 16

Closing deadline is Sunday, May 24 @ 6:00pm.

Players ranked inside the top 16 of the age group they are registering for cannot participate. Out-of-Province players will be eligible to participate in 3-star events provided their National Ranking does not place them within the top 16 of the Albertan provincial rankings for the particular age category/event they are registering.

Date & Time:
Saturday, June 6, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Sign up your teams of 2 (one male and one female) but play as fours! Teams will be placed into pools and rotate through matches, playing in all combinations as groups of 4.

Scoring:
Standings will be based on matches won first, followed by point differential.

After pool play, all teams will be ranked overall.

Playoffs:
Top-ranked teams will get to choose a pair from outside the top teams to join them for playoffs.

TENNISfest 2026 is back! Join us for a FREE, large-scale TryTennis event on Saturday, June 13th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Edmonton Expo Centre. Whether you’re brand new or just looking to get back on court this summer, this is your chance to get started.

Provided through Edmonton Tennis Community (previously known as, Edmonton Junior Tennis Society & Tennis Edmonton Association), this free event offers all ages ‘from 3 to 83’ the opportunity to get active and have fun playing tennis in a comfortable, weather-protected indoor space. Volunteers and members of the regional tennis community will also be in attendance to help you celebrate the arrival of summer and the outdoor tennis season. 

Back by popular demand… we’re bringing the chaos back to the sand this Canada Day with a coed fours beach volleyball tournament!

This year’s theme: Special Holidays & Events 
Come dressed as your favourite day of the year or iconic celebration — think Oktoberfest, Christmas, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, Easter, or anything festive, weird, and creative. The more over-the-top, the better.

Expect the same wild energy as last year’s Eurovision beach event — with a format that’s just as chaotic, social, and ridiculously fun. We’re mixing things up again with unique rotations, unexpected matchups, and creative twists on traditional beach volleyball. No two games will feel the same.

We’ll keep you fueled all day with lunch, drinks, and snacks provided, so you can focus on what really matters: great plays, great costumes, and great vibes.

Grab your team, pick your holiday alter ego, and get ready for a full day of sun, sand, and absolute mayhem.

Garneau is excited to team up with EJTS to introduce half day summer camps! The “Ace the Clay” camps will create a fun and inclusive space where children can build healthy habits, make new friends, and enjoy the game of tennis. Our camp provides a unique opportunity for kids to safely develop their skills and experience the strategic advantages of playing on clay.

Every registration includes a free racquet, promoting long-term engagement with tennis as a life-long sport!

Cost: $175.00 per participant per camp
